Google to invest in submarine cable landing station in Maldives

MALE, Nov. 18 (Xinhua) -- Google will be investing in creating a new international submarine cable landing station and network facility in Addu, the Maldives, the Maldivian government has announced. According to a statement released by the Maldives' Ministry of Economic Development and Trade on Monday, the investment amounts to tens of millions of U.S. dollars.
