UN Security Council Adopts US-Backed Resolution on Creation of International Force in Gaza

WASHINGTON, November 18 (RIA Novosti) - The United Nations Security Council adopted on Monday a US-sponsored resolution authorizing the creation of an International Stabilisation Force (ISF) in the Gaza Strip. Thirteen members of the Council voted in favor of the resolution, while two members - Russia and China - abstained from the voting.
