Boateng speaks about the death of his ex-girlfriend in documentary

Berlin (dpa) - Former German international Jérôme Boateng has spoken publicly for the first time about the death of his ex-girlfiend, Kasia Lenhardt, in a new documentary. "I lost someone I loved very much," the 37-year-old says of Lenhardt, who died by suicide in February 2021 in Berlin. "I've noticed publicly that my right to grieve is being questioned," he says in the three-part series "Being Jérôme Boateng," which begins airing on German broa......
