Security Council renews mandate of UN peacekeeping mission in CAR

UNITED NATIONS, Nov. 13 (Xinhua) -- The UN Security Council on Thursday adopted a resolution to renew the mandate of the UN peacekeeping mission in the Central African Republic (CAR) for a year, until Nov. 15, 2026. Resolution 2800 won the support of 14 members of the council, while the United States abstained.
