Deutsche Telekom unhappy with fibre optic sign ups

Dusseldorf (dpa) - Millions of Germans are forgoing fibre-optic internet connections even though the technology provides the fastest and most stable service, Deutsche Telekom said on Thursday. The company announced in Bonn that its fibre-optic cables are now available to 11.8 million households, businesses and public authorities - 2.5 million more than a year ago.
