IN THE UNITED STATES The S&P 500 Index opened at 6,867.77 points, up 21.16 points, or 0.31 percent. The Dow Jones Industrial Average opened at 48,015.79 points, up 87.83 points, or 0.18 percent. The Nasdaq Composite Index opened at 23,563.84 points, up 95.54 points, or 0.41 percent. IN EUROPE The DAX Index opened at 24,367.......
