Congress on Wednesday voted to end the longest government shutdown in US history, agreeing to reopen federal agencies after a 43-day stoppage that paralyzed Washington and left hundreds of thousands of workers unpaid. The Republican-led House of Representatives, voting largely along party lines, approved a Senate-passed package that keeps the lights on through January -- with President Donald Trump expected to sign the measure within hours. ft/ml......
