Oil Prices Poised to Extend Gains After US Inventory Draw Reported by Trade Group API

WASHINGTON, October 22 (RIA Novosti) - Oil prices look poised to extend their gains in Wednesday’s trade, after a weekly draw reported by the American Petroleum Institute (API) in inventories of crude and fuel products that it tracks. New York-traded West Texas Intermediate crude settled Tuesday’s session up 30 cents, or 0.5%, at $57.82 per barrel. It finished almost flat on Monday after three prior weeks of losses.
