Over 40 contacts of confirmed Mpox case traced

WINDHOEK, 21 OCT (NAMPA) – Health officials at Swakopmund in the Erongo Region have successfully traced 44 contacts following the confirmation of a single Mpox case recorded last Friday.
Ministry of Health and Social Services spokesperson Walters Kamaya, who provided an update on Tuesday, said of the 44 contacts traced, five are classified as high risk, three as medium risk and 21 as low risk, while 15 cases are yet to be classified.
