Mattel misses quarterly estimates amid weakness in North American market

NEW YORK, Oct. 21 (Xinhua) -- Mattel on Tuesday reported weaker-than-expected sales and profit for the third quarter of 2025, as sluggish retail demand in North America weighed on its performance amid broader economic uncertainty. Mattel's net sales totaled 1.736 billion U.S. dollars in the third quarter, down 6 percent as reported and 7 percent in constant currency.
