Survey: 79% of Germans back downing of rogue drones

Berlin (dpa) - A large majority of people in Germany said in a new poll that they support shooting down illegal drones in sensitive locations like airports following a spate of recent disruptions. A total of 79% of respondents fully or somewhat agree that downing drones is a sensible measure, according to the YouGov survey commissioned by dpa and published on Saturday.
