Pakistan's remittances increase 8.4 pct in Q1 of fiscal 2026

ISLAMABAD, Oct. 9 (Xinhua) -- Pakistan's workers' remittances increased by 8.4 percent during the first quarter of the fiscal year 2025-26 (FY26), the State Bank of Pakistan (SBP) said on Thursday. The total inflows reached 9.5 billion U.S. dollars during July-September, compared to 8.8 billion dollars in the same period last year, the central bank said in a statement.
