Global Growth Projected at 3% Over Medium Term, Down From 3.7% Pre-Pandemic – IMF Chief

WASHINGTON, October 8 (RIA Novosti) – The global economic growth forecast for the medium term has been lowered from 3.7 percent before the pandemic to 3 percent, International Monetary Fund (IMF) Managing Director Kristalina Georgieva said on Wednesday. “Global growth is forecast at roughly 3 percent over the medium term— down from 3​​​.7 percent pre-pandemic,” Georgieva said in an address ahead of the IMF and World Bank annual meetings next week......
