Dortmund, Germany (dpa) - The freshly elected mayor of a western German town has suffered life-threatening injuries in a suspected stabbing at her home. Iris Stalzer, from the centre-left Social Democratic Party (SPD), suffered multiple stab wounds, security sources told dpa on Tuesday. The emergency call was reportedly made by Stalzer's teenage children, aged 15 and 17, who said they found their mother seriously injured at the house. According......
