WINDHOEK, 07 OCT (NAMPA) – The Presidency has cautioned the public against a fake artificial intelligence (AI)-generated video circulating on social media, which falsely portrays President Netumbo Nandi-Ndaitwah as promoting an alleged investment scheme called ‘Namibia Money AI.’
In a notice issued Tuesday, the Presidency said the video is fraudulent and was created using AI deepfake technology to imitate the president’s image and voice.
