Massive funding gap threatens to delay German motorway projects

Berlin (dpa) - Many planned motorway projects in Germany are at risk of being delayed due to a multibillion-euro funding gap. In response to an enquiry from dpa, the Ministry of Transport on Wednesday estimated the volume of missing funds until 2029 to be ?5.5 billion ($6.5 billion).
