Thailand's industrial confidence edges down to 37-month low in August

BANGKOK, Sept. 17 (Xinhua) -- Thailand's industrial confidence dropped for a sixth straight month in August, weighed down by concerns over domestic political instability and U.S. trade measures, data showed on Wednesday. The Thai industries sentiment index edged down to 86.4 last month from 86.6 in July as most components of the index decreased, reaching its lowest level in 37 months, according to the Federation of Thai Industries (FTI).
