Fans' chief calls on UEFA to block overseas La Liga, Serie A matches

London (PA Media/dpa) - A fans' chief has called on UEFA to "play its role as regulator of the game" and block plans for La Liga and Serie A matches being played abroad when its executive committee meets on Thursday. UEFA could give approval to the plans when the executive committee meet in Tirana, with football's world governing body FIFA then having the final say. La Liga is seeking to stage the December fixture between Villarreal and Barcelona......
