Former Danish national coach Hjulmand takes over struggling Leverkusen

by Oliver Trust BERLIN, Sept. 8 (Xinhua) -- Bayer Leverkusen has appointed Kasper Hjulmand as its new head coach, the club confirmed on Sunday. The 53-year-old former Denmark national coach takes charge following the brief and turbulent tenure of Erik ten Hag, who departed after just two months and three competitive games. Hjulmand will lead his first training session on Wednesday ahead of Leverkusen's Bundesliga home match against Eintrach......
