U.S. stocks close higher

NEW YORK, Sept. 8 (Xinhua) -- U.S. stocks ended higher on Monday. The Dow Jones Industrial Average rose 114.09 points, or 0.25 percent, to 45,514.95. The S&P 500 added 13.65 points, or 0.21 percent, to 6,495.15. The Nasdaq Composite Index increased by 98.31 points, or 0.45 percent, to 21,798.7. Six of the 11 primary S&P 500 sectors ended in red, with utilities and real estate leading the laggards by losing 1.07 percent and 0.68 percent, res......
