Man freed from elevator in Germany after holding out for four days

Osnabrück, Germany (dpa) - A man in his mid-70s was recently freed from a broken elevator in northern Germany after being trapped for four days without food, water, or any way to call for help, police said on Monday. The incident occurred at the end of June in the man's single-family home in Osnabrück.
