London (PA Media/dpa) - Alexander Isak's wish was finally granted after his transfer deadline-day move to Liverpool for a British record fee and several other high-profile deals were confirmed after the 7pm (1800 GMT) deadline. Premier League clubs spent a record £3 billion ($4 billion) on new players during this year's summer window, surpassing the previous highest outlay of £2.36 billion in 2023, according to Deloitte.
