As Yamuna flows above danger mark, floodwater enters homes in Indian capital

NEW DELHI, Sept. 2 (Xinhua) -- Following the incessant overnight rains, the water level of the Yamuna river crossed the danger mark Tuesday, sending floodwater into homes across parts of the Indian capital territory - Delhi, officials said. Residents in low-lying pockets, such as Mayur Vihar and Yamuna Bazaar, said the river water has inundated ground floors and damaged their belongings.
