Singapore licenses 41,000 pet cats in 1st year of cat framework

SINGAPORE, Sept. 2 (Xinhua) -- About 41,000 pet cats have been licensed since Singapore launched its Cat Management Framework a year ago, the Animal and Veterinary Service (AVS) said Monday. About 95 percent of these licensed cats have already been sterilized, according to the AVS under the National Parks Board.
