Brennan edges Milan for D-Tour stage win; Van Poppel overall leader

Berlin (dpa) - Matthew Brennan pipped Jonathan Milan in a sprint finish on Thursday for victory in the first stage of the Tour of Germany while Danny van Poppel leads the overall classification. Briton Brennan, a former track cycling world champion, just held off his charging famous rival Milan after 202.6 kilometres from Essen to Herford. Dutchman van Poppel crossed the line in third which was good enough to take the overall lead from prologue......
