Munich (dpa) - Eduard Lintner, a former conservative member of the German lower house of parliament, has lodged an appeal with the Federal Court of Justice after his bribery conviction for peddling influence for Azerbaijan. Lintner, who was a member of the Bundestag for the Bavaria-only Christian Social Union (CSU), was sentenced in Munich to nine months' probation for bribing elected officials.
