Frankfurt (dpa) - Despite a drop in demand from abroad, holiday and business travel in Germany is more popular than ever. German hotels and other large accommodation providers logged a record-breaking 223.3 million overnight stays in the first half of this year, marking a 0.1% rise over the same period in 2024, according to the Federal Statistical Office on Monday.
