Survey sees renewed confidence in German housing construction sector

Munich (dpa) - The mood in the German housing construction sector is improving, according to a survey conducted by a leading German economics institute. The business climate index for the industry, published on Wednesday by the Munich-based ifo Institute, rose by just under 6 points in June to its highest level since September 2022.
