The women's 10km open water race at the world swimming championships in Singapore has been postponed because of poor water quality, governing body World Aquatics said on Tuesday. A review of the course at Sentosa Island found water quality levels "exceeding acceptable thresholds", with organisers making the decision to postpone "in the utmost interest of athlete safety".
