Cologne archdiocese to save ?100m annually as flock decreases

Cologne (dpa) - The archdiocese of Cologne aims to save ?100 million ($116.8 million) annually by 2030 to make up for a lack of revenue amid dwindling membership numbers, the second-largest Catholic diocese in Germany said on Friday. Last year, the archdiocese reported income of around ?890 million against expenses of ?954 million.
