Uzbek Parliament Mandates HIV Test After Spending 90 Days Abroad

TASHKENT, July 8 (RIA Novosti) - The Legislative Chamber of the Uzbek parliament adopted amendments to legislation on Tuesday requiring citizens returning to the country after staying abroad for more than 90 days to undergo mandatory HIV testing. "The bill was adopted by lawmakers in the third reading and sent to the Senate for approval," the lower house said on Telegram.
