Work for building water supply network begins in Afghan province

KABUL, July 3 (Xinhua) -- Work for the construction of a water supply network began in northern Afghanistan's Samangan province, reported the state-owned Bakhtar news agency on Thursday. Financed by the Ministry of Rural Rehabilitation and Development, the water supply network, which would cost 31 million afghani (approximately 442,857 U.S. dollars), would benefit 10,500 people upon completion, the media outlet added.
