Chinese tourist arrivals to Serbia see strong growth in May, statistics show

BELGRADE, June 30 (Xinhua) -- Chinese tourist arrivals in Serbia surged in May, Serbia's statistical office reported on Monday. A total of 437,993 tourists were welcomed in the country in May, including 219,192 foreign visitors. Among them, Chinese tourists were the most numerous, with 19,687 arrivals, a 19.7 percent increase year-on-year, and 42,743 overnight stays, marking a rise of 9.2 percent.
