India’s Population of Nearly 1.5 Billion Not Expected to Decline - UN Report

MOSCOW, June 11 (RIA Novosti) - India is the world’s most populous country and its population is not expected to decline for about 40 years, according to a new report by the United Nations Population Fund (UNFPA). "India is now the world’s most populous nation, with nearly 1.5 billion people – a number expected to grow to about 1.7 billion before it begins falling, around 40 years from now," UNFPA said in the State of World Population report.......
