Toddler rescued from pit latrine in Ongwediva

ONGWEDIVA, 11 JUN (NAMPA) – A toddler was rescued after falling into a pit latrine hole in Ohaushombo Village, Ongwediva area.
The Namibian Police Oshana Crime Investigation Coordinator, Deputy Fredrick Ndjadila said the incident reportedly occurred around 18:00 on Tuesday while the one-year and ten-month-old baby girl was playing with other children in a field, where she resides with her guardian.
