French Lower House Passes Bill on Legalizing Euthanasia in 1st Reading

MOSCOW, May 27 (RIA Novosti) - The lower house of the French parliament passed a bill in the first reading on Tuesday that seeks to legalize "assisted dying" for patients suffering from serious and incurable diseases. The National Assembly voted 305-199 to send the bill to the Senate, according to the results of the vote published on the parliament's social media.
