IMF raises Britain's 2025 growth forecast, citing economic recovery

LONDON, May 27 (Xinhua) -- The International Monetary Fund (IMF) on Tuesday revised Britain's 2025 economic growth to 1.2 percent, up slightly from the 1.1 percent forecast in April. The IMF attributed the revision to an economic recovery in Britain, noting that growth is expected to gain momentum after a slowdown in the second half of 2024.
