Over 1.4 million youth voters registered for the 2024 elections

WINDHOEK, 30 AUG (NAMPA) - The Electoral Commission of Namibia (ECN) announced on Thursday that 1 451 444 of the voters registered for the 2024 National Assembly and Presidential elections are youth, falling between the ages of 18 and 35.
During the announcement, ECN Chairperson, Elsie Nghikembua stated that to ensure the integrity and credibility of the voters’ register, the commission had to run the Automated Fingerprint Identification System (...
