COVID-19: Namibia records 89 new cases, one death
Written by Maria Kandjungu on 14 September 2021.WINDHOEK, 14 SEP (NAMPA) – Minister of Health and Social Services, Dr Kalumbi Shangula announced that Namibia on Monday recorded 89 new COVID-19 cases and one death, bringing the total number of deaths nationally to 3 437.
Shangula, in the daily COVID-19 update on Tuesday, said the new death involves a 76-year-old man from Okongo district in the Ohangwena Region, who had comorbidities.
According to the minister, the man, who was unvaccinated, died at home on 28 August 2021.
