COVID-19: Geingob says full lockdown not sustainable
Written by Linea Dishena on 31 July 2020.WINDHOEK, 31 JUL (NAMPA) – A full lockdown of social and economic activities comes at a high premium and cannot be sustained over a prolonged period of time, President Hage Geingob said on Friday.
Addressing the nation on the COVID-19 national response, Geingob said the Erongo Region which is currently Namibia’s epicentre, will remain in the stage three level of restriction which was due to lapse on Monday.
The remaining 13 regions remain in stage four.
