Government launches COVID-19 Economic Stimulus and Relief Package

WINDHOEK, 01 APR (NAMPA) – Minister of Finance, Iipumbu Shiimi, on Wednesday revealed an Economic Stimulus and Relief Package totaling N.dolars 8.1 billion in response to the Corona Virus (COVID-19) containment measures currently in place.
According to a statement from the Ministry of Finance, the package will comprise N.dollars 5.9 billion as direct support to businesses, households and cash flow acceleration payments for services rendered to Government.
