Visually-impaired people enjoyed the barrier-free version of movie "Born to Fly" and movie "Island Keeper" respectively in Yingkou City and Shenyang City of Liaoning lately on the occasion of the 34th International Day of Persons with Disabilities, which fell on Wednesday this year. The movie screening activity was under the Cinema of Light, a public welfare initiative initiated in 2017 by the Communication University of China. The initiative aims to produce duplicable and distributable films with voice descriptions inserted during pauses in dialogue and sound effects, providing explanations of the visual content, emotions and meanings behind the scenes.
