Jordan arrests 189 in nationwide crackdown on crystal meth

AMMAN, Oct. 11 (Xinhua) -- Jordan's Anti-Narcotics Department arrested 189 people in 129 cases involving crystal meth during the 11th week of a nationwide security campaign against the drug, the Public Security Directorate said in a statement on Sunday. Of the 129 cases, 40 involved drug trafficking and promotion, leading to 62 arrests, while 89 were related to drug use, with 127 people arrested, the directorate said. Authorities also seize......
