Frankfurt (dpa) - The Bundesliga seeks an agreement from its clubs on an implementation of the 50+1 ownership rule to avoid potential legal disputes in the future. The league representing the 36 first and second division club said on Tuesday that its executive committee reaffirmed at meetings last week that 50+1 remains "a fundamental principle of German professional football."
