KHARTOUM, Oct. 5 (Xinhua) -- The civil authority of Tawila, North Darfur State in western Sudan, has called for stronger humanitarian assistance, as more than 6,000 displaced people flooded into the town since the beginning of September, with 1,394 in the past week.
