Philippine exports hit 35-year high of 9.11 bln USD in August

MANILA, Oct. 5 (Xinhua) -- The Philippines' exports of goods hit a 35-year high of 9.11 billion U.S. dollars in August 2026, a year-on-year surge of 27.8 percent, according to local media reports on Sunday. The Philippine Statistics Authority (PSA) said the merchandise exports reached 64.04 billion dollars from January to August 2026, up 14.8 percent year on year.
