VW and Audi vehicles face potential recall for steering defect

Berlin (dpa) - About 2.8 million Volkswagen and Audi vehicles worldwide may have a defect that could cause steering failure, Germany's Federal Motor Transport Authority (KBA) has said. The issue affects 2,159,054 Volkswagen vehicles worldwide, including 895,832 in Germany, as well as 696,547 Audi vehicles, including 58,555 in Germany, the KBA said.
