WASHINGTON, September 23 (RIA Novosti) - The University of Oregon has received the largest donation in US history, The New York Times reported on Wednesday, citing university officials. According to the report, the $1 billion pledge was made by Nike co-founder Phil Knight, bringing the Knight family's known total contributions to the institution to more than $2 billion.
