Pezzolano leaves Internacional amid relegation threat

RIO DE JANEIRO, Sept. 21 (Xinhua) -- Uruguayan manager Paulo Pezzolano has parted ways with Internacional as the club battles to avoid relegation to Brazil's Serie B. The announcement followed a 1-0 loss at Sao Paulo on Saturday, a result that left the Porto Alegre-based side 18th in the 20-team Serie A standings with 10 matchdays remaining.
