Turkish Interior Ministry Cancels Citizenship Decisions for Over 6,000 Foreigners

ANKARA, September 21 (RIA Novosti) - The Turkish Interior Ministry has canceled or revoked citizenship decisions for more than 6,000 foreigners as part of a large-scale operation, according to a ministry statement on Monday. The ministry said that, as part of the checks, investment documents of 1,150 investors were annulled, after which citizenship decisions for investors and their family members were canceled for 5,391 people.
